Dry Eyes’ “Equator” and “Frozen Sun” to be released on pro-CDr

Not that long ago, Dry Eyes released two EPs, “Equator” and “Frozen Sun”. Deeming them to be good enough to be worthy of physical CD release, we have plunked down the cash to have them produced and sent to us. Look for “Equator” to come out soon, featuring artwork by Madame Rax and Dry Eyes (but mostly Madame Rax!), followed by “Frozen Sun”!

Ideosphere, maybe?
It is very cold in this place.

The “Frozen Sun” sends shivers through the sky!

Have you ever wondered what the sun would be like if it were made of ice instead of being a perpetual gigantic nuclear fireball? Well, with this concept in mind, I created a musical journey through such an icy abomination.

Featuring icy, reverb-drenched synths, melodically, this release branches out a little, while maintaining the tribal percussion of the last few releases, and expanding on that idea as well. This release is highly atmospheric and epic, emanating forlorn emotions from a snowy place.

The drums can be furious, even as the synths slowly bring forth frost-bitten feelings. Then the percussion stops and a wash of ambience runs through your mind, and your whole body shivers.

I can’t really say this enough: I think this is probably the best thing I’ve ever created, and it very well could be my masterpiece. I really would like you to hear this. Listen if you have any interest in hearing good music!

You will definitely not find much heat here, but then, cold places can be beautiful too, no?

A new, groundbreaking EP by Dry Eyes: “Equator”

Hello, Dry Eyes here. I have once again killed, nay annihilated it with my new EP. I will let the Bandcamp description speak for itself:

This, the new EP from Dry Eyes, veritably changes the lead of your normal mind into the gold of the Dry Eyes Enhanced Mind. Turning the dross of notes, samples, and effects into a golden elixir of immortality, this is a reminder that although one may perish in the flesh, what one creates and takes part in lives on. So, if one takes part in this creation by buying and listening to it, one has purchased and immortality token which soothes the terrible fear of death which permeates the soul of the modern man.

Tribal drumming and creative use of drones combine together to create something that is more than the sum of its parts. One can picture oneself as a satellite in geo-synchronous orbit, with a camera-eye observing the Earth in all its beauty. This is a must-listen!

Also, it features awesome cover artwork by Madame Rax:

Madame Rax killing it, as well.

New Dry Eyes EP, “Cthonic” released!

Sporting the underworld deity Typhon’s face on the cover, this is a journey through dark drones and…wait, tribal percussion? What is going on here?!

Dry Eyes throws yet another curve ball this time, uniting the droning underworld with fast, tribal drums, creating something like a wordless, percussive invocation. This simply must be heard!
